Thanks…

…to our friends at doubleplusundead, where we get our first linkage since returning. It occurs to me that I once again face the blogger’s challenge- coming up with interesting posts!

But this Presidential election is too important to sit out by not having a blog and not commenting. Plus, since I live minutes away from downtown Denver, I am looking forward to the city being in the grips of anarchy and dumb violence when the Democrat National Convention comes to town later this month.

I think the contrast between the GOP and the Dems will be plain for all to see, beginning with just how bad things get on the streets of Denver when ANSWER and ReCreate68 and all the other crazies start breaking windows and flinging poo at passersby. It will be interesting to see what the police response is – whether they hang back and give the animals room, or move in and bust some heads.

There’s a pedestrian mall in downtown Denver- the 16th Street mall. Lots of stores. Lots of glass storefronts. Irresistible to troublemakers, I should think. If I were a merchant on 16th Street, I would board up my place as though preparing for a hurricane.
